I'm Amar, from Mithi in Tharparkar. I build for the web, I'm working on a productivity product called Planvro, and I started Progotech, my school's programming community.

04 / Story
From Mithi to Karachi.
I grew up in Mithi, Tharparkar. A scholarship to NJV School brought me to Karachi.
I taught myself the web the slow way — HTML, CSS and JavaScript first, then React, Node.js, Express and MongoDB — by building small things until they worked.
Now I try to do the same for others: build, share what I learn, and make room for more students to start.

A two-year, fully funded U.S. Department of State program — finished with the best academic record.
Founded Progotech
Started a programming and technology community at NJV School.
First Progotech orientation
Around 130 students attended.
